Walker Introduces new Air Filter Silencer for MTU S4000 Engine
Walker Engineering recently added a new air filter silencer to it’s growing EVERQUIET product line-up.
The unit is a direct aftermarket replacement for the stock paper filter elements that often comes with the engine.
Designed for optimized air flow, the Walker Everquiet unit brings high performance, a “built-in” air intake silencer, and a washable air filter all in a smaller, compact filter package that mounts right on the engine’s air intake.
In addition to the compact design, Walker also incorporated the sleek, easy to service, quick release filter attachment found on Walker’s CCE crankcase fumes disposal systems onto the air filter. So the unit does not rely on stainless steel springs to attach the filter to the base. This robust design is well suited for commercial workboat applications, military
vessels, and even large oceangoing megayachts.
